Back to the Glamp Camp

It's winter and I am dreaming of tents, campfires, and walks in the woods. I  now have  about  all the equipment  a girl could ever need  for tent camping . I even considered moving back into a pop up or even a teardrop  but my reasons for tent camping remain. I don't want a new tow vehicle , I love the fresh air, I cannot  justify the cost,  and I don't want the upkeep. So, what can I "plan", since that's what I love most this time of year.

I'm  thinking about taking one of my Goodwill tents and PAINTING it! In fact, I have a rather large tent that needs to be water proofed any way. Simple Zentangle? Florals? Hmmm...

Today's Tangle and Glamping update

I hate winter. There, I said it. I need sunshine. I need warmth.  My friend,  Vicki, asked for a Beach inspired Zentangle. So, here it is.

As I was in this Zentangle this morning,  I realized that I DO want to camp/glamp this year.  For some reason, I had thought my camping days were numbered,  but I am looking forward to getting back out there. I prefer to camp alone. I prefer my "comforts" when camping. And I prefer camping off season, in April, May, September and October. Unfortunately,  I work in September and October but I am going to have to work around that this year! So, my camping is simply becoming better defined!

Week 200

Moebius Syndrome

I am the Diva  Zentangle challenge this week is in support of Moebius Syndrome.  Go to her blog to read about it and see the sweet photos of her son who has MSAD. I decided to do the challenges this year as consistently as possible in preparation of CZT#18!

Come Back to the Blog!

I haven't utilized this blog OR my website for Oh, So, Long.  I want to be able to blog from my phone or tablet, but am having a bit o' trouble...  Ah...  sweet Google... I will work it out.  Eventually...

Anyway, I am registered to attend CZT #18 in Providence, RI.  It's kinda' like my birthday present to myself.  I have been asked several times to share/teach Zentangle and I just don't feel right about doing it unless I am certified.  So, I am going to get certified!  I have never felt that the CZT I took a class from really taught the ZEN of tangle and I want to get in touch with that aspect of it, too.

Sooo...  I am going to try to post this and see if I can convince my tablet to work...  and go to bed.  :-)
