It has been raining since Tuesday! We were spared the hurricane (Joaquin) thankfully. I can't even imagine the damage of having more reason and WIND on top of the rain we have already.
The only good thing about rainy days is that I can escape to my craft room! I have sewn 3 bags plus 4 zip pouches plus repurposed an old book into an art journal/list book/glue book!

Camp Heartwood
Today was the last day of Camp Heartwood. We had the absolute best volunteers EVER! This year's children were active and engaging and wonderful to spend time with!
Anyway, I loved being with these kids this week!

New Rug!
I finally finished this little doily rug a few weeks ago for my camper. It is crocheted clotheslines and I wish I could tell you how many clotheslines I used, but I think it was 10-12... probably more. I saw it on Pinterest, I think, years ago and thought I would make a 4 foot doily for the porch. I settled for this 2' door mat. I can't imagine how much rope would go into a bigger rug. And it was getting heavy. And hard for old (old-ish!) fingers to work with. But I am happy that it's finished!
